Saving Private Ryan Essays should focus on WWII
This is a very popular topic for school essays nowadays. A Saving Private Ryan essay has the advantage that every student has watched the movie, or at least has some idea on what this 5 Oscar winning masterpiece is about. So don’t freak out if a teacher asks you to write an essay on this topic, because you could do much worse! Saving Private Ryan essays are interesting to write and read, although you should focus on history topics and not only repeat how amazing the first 27 minutes of Spielberg’s film are. Discussion essays combine logic with personal opinions
In the long running list of essay types, one may be requested to write a discussion essay. What are we exactly supposed to write then? First of all, this essay should express the writer’s opinion about a specific topic, not caring too much whether the reader shares it or not. But it is less personal than that of the personal essay: it provides information as in a research essay, combining it with views and opinions as in a critical essay, and also analyzing the topic like an analytical essay. You may think it is way too difficult for you to deal with, right? Give it a try though: discussion essays are challenging, but also stimulating.

Not every photo essay is the same
Photo essays are a series or set of photographs which can either be “telling a story” or evoking a certain emotion in the viewer, and they can include text as well. While some are just images, others add captions of text or even a full essay which photographs illustrate. They are, then, ideal for those who don’t like writing! But preparing a photo essay is not simpler than writing other kind of essays. In fact, they take a lot of hard work, imagination and thought from the photographer. Because, even when a picture is worth a thousand words, it is not easy appealing to a stranger’s emotions.

Do you know what an argumentative essay is?
Even when every single essay tries to catch and maintain the reader’s attention through a series of writing techniques, this is especially true when it comes to argumentative essays. This kind of essay (also known as persuasive essay) is meant to persuade its readers to adopt the same point of view as the writer. In some cases, even to take an action based on the reading (for example, if you write an essay about climate change, you may move your readers into making significant changes in their daily lives, in order to help the planet).
