This is the story of two students, let’s just call them Jane and Mary. They are both smart girls who take their studies seriously. However, due to personal reasons, last term they were very busy and neither could meet their deadlines for handing in their term paper. So both of them tried to figure out what to do. And here the similarities stop: while Jane decided to buy a custom term paper, Mary believed she didn’t need to spend money, as there are many free papers anywhere on the Internet… Let’s see how they both did!

Who wrote the papers?

Mary downloaded a free essay she got on a random website. She didn’t know that such essay had been written by a student who, just like her, made some mistakes. Not even the grammar and spelling were perfect! The student had got a C minus on that essay, and though he hadn’t mentioned that fact on the website he published the essay on, Mary would never have a chance…
Jane bought her paper from a respected online company. And so, her custom term paper was not written just by anyone. If you buy an essay from us, you should know that every single paper is written by a professional writer. Every one of them writes only on their specialization. And they will provide you with a custom term paper with intrinsic academic value, truly original and 100% quality work, written just for you.

Choosing the topic

The course both girls were taking was American Literature. Mary had to choose among a couple of articles which all dealt with pretty much the same authors: Hemingway, Faulkner, Poe, Melville… But as Jane was able to choose her topic exactly as she liked it, she could hand in a great literary essay on Asian-American literature, dealing with some unknown authors that impressed the teacher a lot!

How did the students do?

Mary was unlucky! As soon as the teacher started to read her free assignment, he suspected something, as he believed he had seen something similar before. He was familiarized with Internet and its technologies, so he performed a simple check for plagiarism with Mary’s essay. Pretty quickly he was able to confirm his suspects, and Jane was severely punished. You all see, school, colleges and universities have different policies regarding to cheating. As this was Mary’s first time, she received a verbal reprimand and a requirement to repeat the assignment, with a limited mark. But she could have even been suspended. The penalties are usually more severe if the cheater repeats his behavior.
Jane, on the other hand, delivered an original custom term paper with plenty of academic value. Besides, since her paper was unique and never go published online, the teacher could have never demonstrate a connection whatsoever between the student and the company which sold it. Jane got an A and she passed the course! Then she spoke to her friend Mary and told her that next time she’d better spend some money, but hand in a custom made paper. She certainly knew what she was talking about!

Before we begin to explain, you must be sure that you understand what a literature review writing really is. Because most students, when their teacher has asked them to write a literature review assignment, they would think: “This is my lucky day! I love literature!”. If that’s your case, and next thing you know you go to your bookcase and take out a book with your favourite story and you start writing about how much you liked it, you are on the wrong way.
The thing is, a literature review writing is not a book review and is not a literary essay. Your literature review should not focused on giving your opinion on a certain literary work. In fact, the whole concept of “literature” implied is different, since literature reviews can survey scholarly articles, books and other sources (e.g. thesis, conference proceedings), always relevant to a particular issue, theory or area of research. Then, it provides a description, summary, and critical evaluation of each work.

Why writing a literature review

What is the purpose of the examiner when he or she asks you to hand in a literature review writing? Writing a literature review lets you gain and demonstrate skills in two areas, such as information seeking (since you need to identify the useful articles or books among a huge list of literature available) and critical appraisal (since you must distinguish between unbiased and valid studies). Besides, it increases your knowledge on the topic.

A literature review as a part of a more extended work

Most often associated with academic-oriented literature, such as a thesis, a literature review writing usually precedes a research proposal and results section. The purpose of a this assignment is to offer an overview of significant literature published on a topic. It should be aimed on the critical points of current knowledge and the different methodological approaches on that specific topic, focusing on their strengths and weaknesses. That is why your work can’t be limited to just a descriptive list of the material available, or a set of summaries.
If you were asked to write a literature review assignment, it is probably as part of a larger work. Your main goal is to bring the reader up to date with current literature on a topic and forms the basis for another goal, such as future research that may be necessary in that area.

If a literature review writing sounds way too difficult for you to deal with, don’t take your chances handing in free assignments you have downloaded on the Internet, since they are not safe and they will probably get you into big trouble. Teachers can easily spot these papers. In any case, it is better to buy an assignment specially prepared for you and for no one else: they won’t get published and they are impossible to track down. Last but not least, they have their own academic value, since they have been written by a professional.

Writing compare and contrast essays in five steps

Did your teacher ask you for a compare and contrast essay and you don’t know how to begin? Don’t panic! Compare and contrast essays are not hard to prepare. This kind of essay is characterized by a basis for comparison, developed in different point or sequences, and analogies, always between two (or sometimes more) terms. Here we will show you how you can write a good essay of this kind just by following five simple steps.

Step 1: Choose the topic

Maybe it was the teacher who provided the topic. Maybe it is you who has to find the appropriate one. Anyway, thinks about two or more terms that can easily be related. For example, the economic crisis of 2008 with the crack of 1929.

Step 2: Choose the focus

Once you have picked the terms, decide the focus of your compare and contrast essay. Are you going to compare or to contrast?
While the structure is basically the same, the difference is that while a comparison focuses on the similarities between the terms, a contrast essay highlights its differences. For example, you may choose to write an essay about Hemingway and Faulkner. You may have a lot to say about them that keeps both writers close to each other (for example, the influence on contemporaries, the fact that they were both Nobel prize winners, etc). But you may choose to focus on the differences instead, in which case your essay will be a typical contrast.

Step 3: Plan and organize your essay

Compare and contrast essays should have a structure similar to this one:
-	An introduction.
-	One or two paragraphs discussing the less important things (that is, similarities if it is a contrast essay, differences if it is a comparison essay).
-	Other one or two paragraphs, now referring to the main things.
-	An essay conclusion, in where you close your work and give some general ideas on other facts that could have been compared.
Another possible structure begins by describing the first item, and then describing the second one by comparing different aspects of it with the first one.

Step 4: Write a good introduction

You can’t compare a writing desk with a crow, as Lewis Carroll humorously demonstrated in Alice in Wonderland. So prove from the beginning your whole essay has a point. You may find obvious the reasons you choose for comparing the given items. But the reader will not necessarily share your opinions. So you want to start your comparison by explaining the purpose of your work: for example, what do Vietnam War and WWII have in common?

Step 5: Quote plenty of authorities

Your comparison can’t be based on common sense alone, and it has probably been done before. Who has written something about it? Check the library, surf the web and read as much as you can. And then, build your comparison with the help of authorities you can quote.

There you have it! A great comparative essay in five steps!

How to organize your essay references

It is very important to learn how to reference your essays. After all, a proper essay reference is essential for obtaining a good essay marking. This is why, as a student, you should learn how to reference your essays properly. The bad news is not every teacher is willing to show you how to do it, since finding out on your own is part of your task. Nevertheless, don’t worry: here we will show you how to organize your essay references in just five simple steps.

Step 1: A proper research

Previously to any essay reference, you must consider what texts are you going to quote. When you are writing an essay, you should always quote some bibliography. The best thing you can do is include as many texts, documents and testimonies, as you can, in order to show the examiner your commitment to your investigation. Do not constrain yourself to one or two authors. If you just quote few authors, your essay will seem a copy of their ideas, instead of your own work.

Step 2: Select the quotes

After doing a proper research, choose in each work you read some lines you could quote in your essay. Consider the essay extension: for lower essay word counts, limit your quotes to a sentence or two. However, if you must prepare a long essay, feel free to quote an entire paragraph. Be careful: quotes can’t be used as “decoration”: the reader needs to understand why did you choose to quote that specific part of another writer’s work.

Step 3: Copy the quotes

The essay writer must copy literally every single quote, always mentioning the author, their work, the publisher and the year, as well as the page where they took the quote from. Quotation marks are mandatory, otherwise you could be accused of plagiarism, since you would be just copying someone else’s thoughts.

Step 4: Use a reference system

Choose an appropriate format for the references. A good idea is to follow the rules set by the American Psychological Association for documenting sources used in a research paper. APA citation style requires both in-text citations and a reference list. Remember that essay references are different if you are quoting from a book, a journal article or an electronic source. For example, when listing a magazine article, you must provide the readers the name of the author(s), the year the article was published, the title of the actual article, then the name of the magazine and volume number in italics (or underlined), and finally the pages the articles are on.

Step 5: Add a reference section

At the end of your essay, you should include a reference section: that is, a list of all the sources quoted or referenced in the essay, even if you mentioned each reference in a footnote. The proper way of referencing an essay is to arrange the list alphabetically by author’s surnames. In this way, any reader who needs to check a reference can easily find its source.

If you are looking for information on how to write an English essay, that probably means you have studied English as a foreign language, and you are not too confident on your writing skills. This won’t probably be the case if you had to write an essay in your first language. Or maybe it is just that writing is not your forté. Maybe you are applying for an international university or college on an English speaking country, and you need to hand in an application essay. Whatever the case is, we can -and we will- help you!
We can tell for sure that if your essay is supposed to be written in a foreign language you may multiply the difficulty by two! Besides trying to figure out what to say, you also have to think very carefully how to say it. It doesn’t matter how much time we have been studying the second language: it’s never quite the same. As wearing a borrowed jacket that may fit us well, but still doesn’t feel exactly like our own. But do not worry: here are some tips for helping you in your writing.

How to begin

Forget about translating an essay in your language. If you need to write English essays, you must try thinking in the foreign language. The thing is, the structure of every language is unique and can express ideas unlikely to be translated without being a bit changed. The best you can do if you need to prepare an essay in a language different than your, is forget about translating.
You may probably end up writing shorter and simpler sentences. That doesn’t matter, as long as you express yourself correctly and you demonstrate original thoughts in your own way. Later, you may do an essay revision or editing if you still feel your work could improve.

Proofreading

Every student should carefully proofread they essay. But, when it’s up to writing in English, no one can provide you more valuable help than a native English speaker, someone who can read your English essay and tell you if it is easily readable or full of weird sounding expressions. Another thing you can do is using an online grammar and spell-checker. Relax and try to take it easy. With a little patience and some help you will surely be writing acceptable English essays. After all, no one expects you to become the next George Bernard Shaw.

Do you come with brilliant paper ideas, but then find quite difficult to express yourself in your writings? Do you feel that your English essay is ok, but far from achieving a really good mark? Do you find your paper, once finished, not quite as clear as you thought it would be? Then, hiring an essay checker is the best thing you can do. The proper editing can really improve your final essay marking, highlighting your own ideas at the same time that adding some extra quality to your academic work.

When you write an argumentative essay, you are basically trying to prove your point by using logic and reason. In these essays, the writer demonstrates that one idea (their own) is more valid than another. By using a series of procedures and writing techniques, argumentative essays persuade the reader to adopt the same point of view they are expressing or even taking an action based on the reading. The purpose is almost the same as advertising, even when in the last one, the action is always the same: buy.
Many students make some mistakes when writing argumentative essays. Here we will show you how to avoid these mistakes.

Mistake #1: Choosing the wrong topic

If you tried to write a persuasive essay about the colours of the American flag, you’ll surely fail: there are no doubts about that question! That is why, when writing your essay, you should always choose a topic which must be controversial, such as capital punishment, affirmative action, euthanasia, immigration controls or globalisation. The topic, basically, should be an unsolved problem.

Mistake #2: Not doing enough research

We all tend to make a personal opinion on controversial topics as mentioned before. But you should not believe that reading a few articles in the local newspaper and speaking about affirmative action with your uncle qualifies you to write about it.
Before actually starting to write, do a good research and be well informed about your topic. A visit to the library would be a great idea. Direct quotes from experts in the topic are other valuable source of information.

Mistake #3: Letting your emotions guide you

Of course you must choose your own position in the essay you write, but you should do so by taking into account real facts that support it. Do not appeal to the reader’s feelings or beliefs but base your whole essay on logic and reason. For example, you can’t support euthanasia by saying “I saw my poor mother suffer for months”, but you can provide actual facts, such as a survey on how many patients would choose to end a terminal disease if given the chance.

Mistake #4: Ignoring the opposite point of view

Don’t write your essay as if yours was the only possible undebatable truth. Of course, if you have chosen a statement and you are trying to persuade people about it, that means a different statement is possible. As a writer, you must cope with it. You should provide the reader with the opposing argument as well, in order to refute it with evidence and examples that support your own statement. In some section of your argumentative essay, you should identify the opposite statement’s main points, and eventually prove them wrong. Reductio ad absurdum is the best resource to use in this part of your essay.

One last common mistake we must avoid is downloading free essays from the Internet. It is so easy to get caught that’s just not worth it… Consider buying a 100% original and unique custom written paper instead.

Learning the basic characteristics of the essay

If you are reading this guide about the essay, this probably means that at school teachers are already requesting this kind of writing from you and your classmates. But, have you ever wondered what an essay really is? What is the point when writing one? Are all the essays the same? What is their structure like?
All the essays are not the same. For example, while Prep school students are given a topic by their teacher to write about, in academic writing the teachers ask students to demonstrate an argument, collect enough data to prove a point, or prove that they have understood the multiple meanings of a text they have assigned. But even when they seem different, in all cases, the writing process is the same. You, as the student, always need enough evidence and you have to make a conclusion in order to prove a thesis.

Basic essay structure

Every essay needs at least five paragraphs to be complete. These are an introduction, in where the writer establishes the purpose of the essay some body paragraphs, a very important part, since it is the development of every argument what makes the essay sustainable; and an appropriate conclusion, which sums up the essay’s main ideas and provides direction to future work on the topic.
Of course, if you should write a 3000 word essay, five paragraphs may be too few and you may need to add more. The essay organization, however, remains unchanged.

Essay types

Of course, once you know that the essay is a short piece of non-fictional writing often written from its author point of view, at least you know what you are supposed to hand in. But this essay definition alone may not be enough, since there are many different essay types and each of them has its own characteristics. Here we will list the most common essay types you may be asked to write:
-	A narrative essay: In such an essay, you are supposed to tell a story. Not any story, though. You should tell a valuable experience that makes a point –leaves a certain message in the reader-.
-	An argumentative essay: It is meant to persuade readers to adopt the same point of view as the writer. In some cases, even to take an action based on the reading.
-	A compare and contrast essay: This essay is characterized by a basis for comparison, developed in different point or sequences, and analogies, always between two (or sometimes more) terms.
-	A definition essay: This work explains what a certain term means, such as fear, glory or patriotism. Your essay should provide a personal, extended definition of such terms by linking or comparing the term to a previous definition and by illustrating how your term of choice should be applied.
-	A research essay: One of the most difficult essays to prepare. You need to write about a certain topic, answering a question or controversy related to the topic, but sustaining your answer with a deep research.

All through your academic career, probably starting in school and most likely, later too, you will be required to write a lot of essays. College is definitely a huge writing training. But, speaking of training, what if you feel writing essays is not your thing? Can you somehow get better at it? Can anyone teach you how to improve your essay skills?
The good news is, you are probably able to acquire essay writing skills by yourself. Writing training is something anyone can try. Here we provide you with some tips to improve your essay skills and make you feel much comfortable next time a teacher asks for an essay writing task. Take them step by step!

Step 1: organization

When writing an essay, most students will just sit in front of the blank page and say “Ok, now what?”. This makes them very difficult to move on with their writing. If you tend to experience this kind of writer’s block often, maybe it is because of your lack of organization. In any assignment writing a proper organization is a must. So always use titles, subtitles, an index and all the other textual elements that provide your essays with a very desirable professional look.

Step 2: research

When you are researching for an essay, do not constraint yourself to one or two authors. Go to the library and investigate the topic you have decided to write about. Look up for articles in magazines, interview an expert on the subject, read a couple of articles in dictionaries and encyclopedias before actually starting to write.

Step 3: proper quoting

A basic essay skill is referencing an essay in an appropriate way. The essay writer must copy literally every single quote, always mentioning the author, their work, the publisher and the year, as well as the page where they took the quote from. Quotation marks are mandatory, otherwise you could be accused of plagiarism.

Step 4: word count

How exactly is your essay word count supposed to be? It is up to the examiner to say. If you have the chance to ask them, find out whether the extension is an estimate one or if it should be exact. If the essay is getting published somewhere, you must follow directions to avoid blank spaces or valuable information being erased. Always maintain the variation in word amounts to a minimum.

Step 5: good grammar and spelling

If you feel your essay skills are not great, maybe you need to improve your grammar and spelling. Practice writing down those words you always misspell. Look up the words in a dictionary every time you are uncertain on how to write the, This may take a while, but a proper spelling will certainly show in the essay’s final mark.

Remember that writing is a habit one must acquire, such as studying. If you pay attention to the given steps and practice them every single time you are requested to write an essay, you will eventually learn to write much better. And then it is just a matter of time before you are writing the best essay you’ve never imagined.

Do your teacher ask you to write many school essays? Or, on the contrary, you have never written one… yet? The thing is, chances are that every now and then, a teacher will ask you to hand in a school essay. And even when you may think it is a pain in the neck, because you don’t like to write and you don’t really think they are important at all, they are significant. In fact, there are many things you can learn from writing school essays, as boring as they may sound they are a task which provides you with certain tools you will need to use all your academic life. So in case you have no idea on how to deal with them, here we will suggest you some tips.

Basic notions

OK, so I’ve never written an essay, how do I begin? You must be familiarized with the concept. An essay is a short piece of writing which is often written from an author’s personal point of view. In an essay you don’t necessarily “tell a story” (although there is such a thing as a narrative essay, later on you’ll learn about the different kind of essays). You would rather “express an opinion”. It is a “non-fiction” kind of writing.
The first thing you need to do is to choose the essay topic. If this is your first essay, probably the teacher has given you the essay topic: it may be an Our day out essay, or a personal essay, or even a film essay, which are simpler forms that other kinds of essays that require a lot of research.
Ok, let’s imagine your topic is “A person I admire”. First, choose the person you want to write about, and then focus on why you admire him or her. Provide at least three reasons, which will turn into three different paragraphs. The first essay paragraph is your introduction: say who this person is and why did you choose to write about them. In your last paragraph, you sum up the ideas you have already written about. More on this following.

What you need to include

Think of every essay as a structure assembled from the same basic elements. Every essay must begin with a proper introduction, a few paragraphs were the writer establishes the purpose of the essay. Essay introductions should not be very long. Following, there should be some body paragraphs, a very important part, since it is the development of every argument what makes the essay sustainable. The writer of the essay is also required to write an appropriate conclusion, which sums up the essay’s main ideas and provides direction to future work on the topic.

And if you still need some help with your school essays, don’t hand in a free essay you just downloaded from a random website, buy one! Remember you can always trust us with all your writing tasks and here you will find high quality writers ready to provide you with a custom made, 100% original and unique essay, any time.

Photography essays are a series or set of photos which can either be telling a story through the images, or evoking a certain emotion in the viewer. This kind of essay can include text captions as well. A photography essay is the ideal task for those who don’t like writing!
Here we will provide you some tips on how to (and how not to) prepare your essay. Say cheese!

Do’s

-	Pick a good topic: Choosing the right essay topic will always make your life simplier, also in photography essays. Topic ideas for photography include feelings –anger, fear, joy, etc.- as well as abstract concepts –such as racism, time, democracy, etc.-. In both cases it is up to your imagination to figure out the best way to catch the concept in images.
-	Take plenty of pictures: Maybe you just need ten photographs in your essay. It doesn’t matter: take lots and lots of pictures, so you have more chances to pick the best ones.
-	Choose original perspectives: Take photographs from different angles in order to produce unique images. For example, if you want your photographs framed by something, you may use a door, a window, trees, etc. Choosing an unusual viewpoint is quite more challenging: why not taking a photograph through a glass of sparkling water, or under a crystal table? Close ups and light and shade are popular perspectives that allow you to play with your camera and its effects.
-	Plan your photographs: As some shots may be quite difficult to get, don’t be afraid to explain to people in charge that you are a photography student. Another piece of advice is to previously sketch the shot you are trying to achieve. Then, you will have an idea when you actually get to the subject.
-	Ask for permission: Remember that certain situations require permissions to use a camera. Don’t play the spy.

Don’ts

-	Don’t just put any random photographs in the essay: Take into account that, while every photography essay is a collection of photographs, not every collection of photographs is itself an essay. There must be a sense of unity and coherence between the pictures you choose. The title you give to your work will be the key to interpret it the right way.
-	Don’t leave everything for the last minute: Prepare your essay in advance. If you take the photographs with little time left, you won’t have time to repeat the ones that don’t satisfy you. And what if you depend on the weather and it happens to be a rainy day?
-	Don’t take this essay for granted: Ok, so you don’t need to write. That doesn’t mean that preparing a photo essay is easier than writing other kind of essays, such as a personal essay or a definition essay. In fact, they take a lot of hard work, imagination and thought from the photographer. Because, even when a picture is worth a thousand words, it is not easy appealing to a stranger’s feelings.
